WOW Gold Making – Post 13

Up to now, the “WOW Gold Making” series posts were devoted, mostly, on the “rules” and “system” of gold making in WOW. I have used in most cases an item or a group of items, to focus your attention to the point I was trying to deliver on the gold making potential you can develop in your WOW game.

In the last post for example, you can learn that you can make gold from reselling of vendor items (WOW Vendor Item ReSelling – Gold Making The Easy Way), but the secret is not on that. The point is that you can learn to identify the vendor items that will sell, and that you can recognize what the market wants – You make gold on some vendor items because you get a “fee” for your services. This can be saving the time to go get it, or make it available to players that don’t have access to it, but do have the gold to have it.

Today I want to go over one basic thing. This is not a ”rule” or a “system”, but a way of thinking or an approach (an attitude) to all of the WOW gold making “way”. If you realy want to make gold on WOW you need to become a “gold maker”!

What is a WOW Gold Maker?

For me a WOW gold maker is the way I play the game. Qston is a well known name in the server where I play, as you can buy it all from him. This means that other players know that even if my prices are higher, if you need something you can get it. Other gold makers know to not price cut you, and the market go to where you take it. This means that you can, on some cases make a price go up or down, even if for a little while, and that is how you make the big piles of gold.

If you are only want to make gold for your needs, you can make it with some or even one of the method in the past 12 posts of this posts series, If you want to be a WOW Gold Maker like me, and have more gold then other player can only dream about, you need to do it consistently, and over a long period of time.

I do my gold with only 2-3 hours a week (yes a week not a day), with one or two sit down. I have an inventory of many items, that I rotate with the mailbox (as no bank is big enough). And I sell consistently in the WOW auction house, and alway on the weekends.

That I have sold Flask of Mojo, at a price of 2.5 gold per one, and I sold many of them. If you remember in post 6 of the WOW Gold Making series (Flask of Mojo – The Gold Maker Best Friend) I have show you that I sold many Flask of Mojo. If you look at the upper screen shot (the high level one) you can see that the date there is 24 of the month, I had 92,432 gold (and that the weekend only started, as the gold was send 5 day before). In the screen shot above you can see that the date is the 25 of the month, and yet agine I sold many Flask of Mojo, at the same price.

That price is higher then the regular price of Flask of Mojo on other server, but because I’m consistently selling it for that price, all the other are lining in with me (this is a higher step of price fixing). That is the meaning of being a true WOW gold maker – make all the gold you want, when you want it.
