There are 14 professions in WOW!

WOW Professions

All WOW professions can be categorized in to two mean class: Gathering professions and Crafting professions (some will say there are 3 mean professions class, adding the Service Professions as one as well), and can be  divided into two groups: Primary professions and Secondary professions.

Any character can learn all the secondary professions, but only two primary professions. If you like to know more on how Professions work see – World of Warcraft Professions.

The Secondary WOW professions are:

• Fishing
• Cooking
• First Aid

The secondary professions are one of WOW missed opportunities. Many WOW players neglect them or don’t make a good use with them. Secondary professions can be used to make gold, get some uncommon items and particularly for getting powers and strengths that can make the difference between wining and losing!

The secondary professions can also be classified as Gathering professions (Fishing) and Crafting professions (Cooking and First Aid), but majority of the time are not displayed in the same group with the other WOW professions (Primary).

The Primary WOW professions:

The Primary professions are the ones that receive most of WOW players attention, and for a good reason. Any player can only know and use two at any giveing time, and if you want to realy get all of what they have to offer, you will need to invest a lot of time and gold in to it.

This, with the need to combine abilities from all professions, makes a big market with different demands and supplies of items and mats, that attract many WOW players.
