The casual trends may look like a new buzz of WOW, but he truth is that Blizzard has started going on to the “casual trends” more than two years ago, and never stopped.
Many hardcore players and WOW funs think that the casual trends are not good for the development of Warcraft Universe.
Introducing casual players to the Warcraft world, as they say, will harm the fragile WOW economy. Not like the real world, World of Warcraft have a strong regulator – Blizzard. In the past, when the economy was changing, Blizzard has influence it directly, by changing the “rules” of the economy game (not to say this is a good thing).
How you can make gold from it?
Making gold from the casual trends is very simple. As casual players do not have the time and ability to get it all figured out, and familiarize with all the game has to offer. This, with the new players desire to have and get it all, make it that much easier to make gold off of it. You can benefit by providing the high end-game items (as casual players will not have the ability to make everything with professions), sell rear and hard to find recipes as well as pats, deliver of complex mats and items and the exploitation of arbitrage prices are all ways for you to make more gold.
