At the last part of the “Auction House Seller” post series I had summarize for you how you can start making gold on WOW by using the gold making tips I had talked about in the beginning. I also said there are some shortcuts for making gold, today I will give you one of the shortcuts you can use to make gold on WOW for a high level character.
There are many WOW players that have difficulty making sufficient gold to live on, not to say enough gold to buy all the gear they want, and all the items they desire. Some will go farm for gold, either by killing mobs or by farming ores or herbs. This is a very time consuming way to make gold on WOW, and this method is not the best one to do, although you can make gold with it as well.
How to get more gold in WOW in high levels?
Use your ability to get items to the Auction House that low levels character don’t have access to. Some of the most profitable items to resell on WOW Auction House are vendor items that you can buy in unlimited quantity. Here is an example:
Selling bags can be a profitable thing to do!
As you can see you can resell the Heavy Toolbox bag for a very nice profit in WOW Auction House taking into consideration you can buy it for a few gold coins when you are only around level 60.
You can sell it for big profit like in the screen shot, or “settle” for less and resell the bag fast for a price of 20 gold. You can sell a few Heavy Toolbox bags a day if you are playing on a growing server. Think of it like you are providing a service as you save time for someone else to go get it, or you give access to items that otherwise the buyer will not have access to at all.
One thing to be careful about is that the Auction House fee can cut your profit, or even make you lose gold on the resell if you auction the bag to many times before someone buy it, or you put up to many bags for resell on the Auction House all in the same time. Don’t flood the market with this one!
