WoW – 3 Frequently Asked Questions Answered!
As a WOW veteran I get asked a lot of questions by beginners in and out of World Of Warcraft.
And beginners do have a lot of questions, some will seem, for the skilled player, as stupid questions, and when a new player of WOW needs some help, and he turns to the (sarcastic and ironic) advanced player, he will get burned and laugh at, and that will be the end of the new player “asking career”.
Now, it is not that I like the kind of player that his only solution for a problem is asking a question, but, over the years, I tried to make it more pleasant for WOW newbies to ask away.
What I found is that there are really only a few questions that are repeating by almost any new player, 3 of them have straightaway answers (it does not matter the situation – there is only one solution).
Here they are:
Question – I have been looting some really good items, but they are not useful for me. What can I do with it? Is there a way to remove the bind so I can sell it at the AH or should I just sell to a vendor?
Answer - If the items are “Binds when equipped” and you did not equipped them, you will not have any problem selling them on the AH, if you do, check if the items are damaged. You can fix them, and then sell them, on the AH.
If the items are “Binds when picked up” you only have two options: you can sell the items to a vendor, or you can Disenchant them. You cannot Disenchant items using someone else Disenchant ability for items that are “Binds when picked up”, so you will have to get the Enchanting profession yourself.
Question - I have two professions, and want to change one of them. I’m trying to study the new profession, but it saying that I need to be at least a level 5 in it to learn it? How can I be level 5 if I didn’t yet study it?
Answer - All classes can take all professions, but you can only have 2 professions at a time (and if you change one profession to something else you start from skill 1 all over again). If you want to change one of your professions, you need to unlearn it first. Go in your “skills tab” and you will find a button for it. Then you need to find a trainer that you can learn the profession from. This will not always be the same one as the one that teaches you to create new items (as describe – the one that has new skills from level 5). Usually, you will find the profession trainer next to him.
Question – If I press on abandon quest button can I redo or re-acquire the quest? How?
Answer - All quests can be abandon and then re-acquire. To do so, you will need to go into your quest log and abandon the quest, then you can go back to the quest giver and get the quest again.

The new way to power level your World of Warcraft characters is by instance leveling, which pretty much means all the old leveling guides are obsolete. Thankfully, there are now some good instance leveling guides available, like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide. Let’s take a closer look at the major differences between traditional WoW leveling guides and the new instance leveling guide.
