WOW Cool Video – Making a WOW Song, Yes or No?

Author: Is useing a song as a background to your WOW video is a good idea?
Making a WOW video can be quite a tricke job, and can take you a lot of time to make if you don’t use an existing materials. In the lest few videos you have seen that the creator have used materials from the real world (http://qstonwowtips.com/?p=928) and, on the other hand, made an original video with a complete store (http://qstonwowtips.com/?p=921). This are not the only two options.
The winner of the movie contest of Blizzcon 2009 (http://qstonwowtips.com/?p=914) was an original song video of WOW. The motif was a day to day event in WOW all player can relate to, with a funny twist in the end.
Useing video song in WOW is a very “popular road to walk in”. I believe that if you do it right you can use this way to make a cool looking WOW video, but in the same time earn in two ways: (1) with a song in the background you can make more cuts in the video, and use different motif to emphasize the story line, and in the same time (2) have a wider audience, songs are very popular in the WOW community.
Of course, combining all the elements together can be a challenge, and you do need a song!
You can use a real world song, an original song (this is a great way to make yourself a community of fans) or even make a new WOW version of a real song – very popular and more likely to catch up.

Now, if you only listened to the words, look at the video again, can you see the story line? and how the creator is using the song to promote the story.

And you know WOW is not the only game you can use as a platform for making a video or even a movie, other games can be used as well.
