WoW Factions: Alliance and Horde

In World of Warcraft (WOW), there are two factions, enemy factions, Alliance and Horde. 

You will see players from the two factions fight one against the other in battle grounds or arenas, and in the PVP (Player vs Player) and RPVP (Role Player vs Player) realms, they are fighting against one another anywhere they meet. But why?

WOW Faction – The Alliance

The Alliance is made up of the Draenei, Dwarf, Human, Gnome and Night Elf races. They represent in some players eyes “the good”, but there is no good and evil sides in WOW.

• The Draenei are aliens that crash-landed on Azeroth, the main world of WoW. They are large, powerful creatures with reptilian tails, goat-like legs and talk with a Russian accent.
• Opposite in size are the Dwarves. They are fierce fighters, like ale, find treasure and turn into stone when threatened.
• Humans are well adapted to Azeroth and its strange continents. They are known as steadfast fighters.
• Gnomes are very small.  Their squeaky little voices are annoying but since they’re known for amazing technology, that flaw is overlooked .
• The Night Elves are one of the oldesr races of WOW, and have special abilities and interest in magic. They aren’t very friendly and look upon others races as… well – not very nice/

WOW Faction – The Horde

The Horde consists of Blood Elves, Orcs, Tauren, Trolls and Undead.

• Blood Elves can silence their enemies’ spells, are slight of build and can be considered as pretty people in Horde terms.
• Orcs on the other hand are – not pretty.  They make great hunters and warriors with their racial bonuses but they’re not pretty (did I say that…).
• Tauren are Cow People, as I have no better comparison to use for what Taurent are (Hi Qston is a Taurent – so watch it!).  They are the largest of all 10 races so stealth isn’t a strength.
• Trolls sound like they’re from Jamaica, keeping players laughing when they try to sound tough .
• Undead are skeletal and zombie like – dead Humans, and the only Horde race from the Eastern Kingdoms. Their creepiness is their best defense, also they can eat the dead corpses of theirs enemy – that is my favourite ability.

WOW Faction - General

In any other case (classes, profession, ability…) there isn’t any real difference between the two WOW Factions, Alliance and Horde. If you have a chance and time – you will want to experience the two of them…
