As I always say – using the Auction House for making gold in WOW is the fastest way for making gold in WOW. But what do you do if you need some fast way to make gold in WOW to begin with?

Many players are trying to farm gold as a fast way for making gold in WOW – but that is not the best way, it is not even a good way for making gold in WOW at most cases.

Farming for gold is only good for at high levels and even then it is not the best way!

This is right mainly because when you level up you can make more gold at less time – so you will want to start by leveling up as fast as possible (powerleveling) before you start farming for gold.

But there is an exception to that rule – WOW Golden Pearl Farming!

WOW Golden Pearl Farming is good as Golden Pearl can be sold for a lot of gold at the WOW Auction House most of the time.

You can sell Golden Pearls on the Auction House for very high prices – that is 80-100 gold and up to 200 gold per pearl!

Then there are times that the Golden Pearls prices on the WOW Auction House go down to a few gold pieces, or even below vender price of one gold.

The Best Way For Farming Golden Pearl In WOW – Low Cost Prices

When the prices are down you can buy them at the Auction House, stock them for a while, and sell them when the price are higher.

You will be surprise how many times I find Golden Pearls for less than one gold on the WOW Auction House. There is no risk in buying them then as you can just sell them to the vender – worst case scenario when you need the gold back, and even make a profit from it.

A Fast Way for Making Gold in WOW – Golden Pearl Farming

When the prices are high you can sell your stocks of Golden Pearls or go get some.

If you can get 4-6 Golden Pearls an hour from farming you can make between 500 to 1000 gold per hour from Golden Pearl Farming, and you can start farming for Golden Pearl from at a low level as 40 (while leveling in the same time) or go Golden Pearl Farming as a fast way for making gold in WOW at a low level as 50.

The secret is not to farm for the Golden Pearls themselves but to farm for specific clams that drop them.

Where To Go For Golden Pearl Farming?

You can get Golden Pearl drop from mane monsters in the game, but the drop rate is very low.

What you want to do is farm for Big-mouth Clam and Jaggal Clam.

The low level Big-mouth Clam has the best drop rate of Golden Pearl!

It is not very high, but you can expect 3% to 4% drop rate of Golden Pearl from Big-mouth Clams, and 1% to 2% drop rate of Golden Pearl from Jaggal Clams.

When you take in a 30% to 60% drop rate for the clams themselves (from the top drop rate) – you see you will need to farm for 50 to 100 monsters per Golden Pearl, but if you know how to farm low level monsters that should not be a problem.

And don’t forget about all the other drop down you gets…
