WOW Quest Item Selling – Gold Making The Fast Way

The “WOW Gold Making” series continue, and this time – Gold making with selling \ reslling quest items.
In one of the older posts (The Booty Bay Gold Secret – How You Can Get Free Gold in WOW!) I had writing that you can make a lot of gold by using Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale, You were even giving a summary, in another post (in that Resource ToolBox), of how you can use Stranglethorn Vale for speed leveling (The Speed Leveling Potential of Stranglethorn Vale).
Today you can learn how you can get it all – fast leveling with good gold making using the Stranglethorn Vale as your platform. I will talk about selling and reselling the “Green Hills of Stranglethorn -pages”. This is an item that drop down from many of the mabs in Stranglethorn Vale, and it is used for completing one of the quests in that zone of WOW.
You can even continue to make gold by useing the auction house, and this method is only an example. You can take the principles of what you will learn here, and make a lot of gold, with other items that are quest items from all around the Warcraft world.
WOW Quest Item Gold Making Method
As tradition of this post series, here is my proof, for using this method myself.
You can see I make a lot of gold (at that time I had 93,803 gold and change), and that I’m selling the “Green Hills of Stranglethorn - page X” in a bundle (where X can be any one of the pages you find, all are equal).
The price of one page can go from 1 gold to 2.5 gold, dependent on the number of sellers at that time. Because the auction fee is low, I will not try to cut the price, and I will even put up to 10 of the same page number at one time. The market for this item is very stable, so you know you can sell it.
If you are leveling, try to do it in Stranglethorn Vale and get the pages. It will accumulate to stocks of 10, so you will save bag space. If you are higher level and you don’t have gold, go to Stranglethorn Vale, and farm for the pages. If you are high level and do have gold, look at the auction house and buy the low price pages. I do it all the time, and I make a lot of gold with it. You can start by buying pages that sell for less then 0.5 gold, I buy all the pages that are less then 1 gold. If you clean the auction house, or you have pages in your inventory that don’t found in the auction house, you can sell it for up to 2.5 gold. You will have a good sell to return ratio with a price of 2 gold. If you need fast gold sell it for 1.5 gold (The prices can change from server to server, you will need to check and test your server prices).
Why Do People Pay So Mach Gold For Quest Items?
Many times, I have heard this question from gold making newbies. Think of it, if you are looking for an item to a quest, and you are mising one, let say you have all the pages but one, will younot pay 2 gold to have it? You have gold in your bank, don’t you buy it? You have spend an houre or more, and you don’t have it, do you say ok, let skip this one, or you look at the auction house?
Some times I even take a quest with a character I try to level up, log to my Alt and buy all the items to complete it, send it, and login back to the first character to finish the quest. When you have gold, and lots of it, you don’t waste time runing around, you go to the auction house.
That is why it works very well to resell quest items, and with the Green Hills of Stranglethorn - pages it is even easier. Trust me, go make some gold!
